You probably have received notices in the mail, but we thought it important to remind our patients that are SC State employees that October 2021 is Open Enrollment for your PEBA dental insurance.  Only every two years, in October, are able to change your level of dental insurance.  You have two options for dental coverage.  Dental Plus pays more and has higher premiums and lower out- of-pocket costs. Basic Dental pays less and has lower premiums and higher out-of-pocket costs.  As a Blue Cross Blue Shield network dentist in Beaufort SC, we strongly encourage our patients with Basic Dental to upgrade to Dental Plus.
